True Friendship

True Friendship

Every day - at the same time - she waits for him. Sometimes she barks to call him. He comes; they rub and greet each other and they go for a walk. They have done this for 5 years and no, they don’t belong to the same owners. The owners didn’t know until neighbors seeing them together so frequently commented to the cat’s owner, who then followed the dog home which was a distance away - not in a house close or next door. How it started no one knows.

Wife of Lt. James Cathey

Wife of Lt. James Cathey

The night before the burial of her husband 2nd Lt. James Cathey of the United States Marine Corps, killed in Iraq, Katherine Cathey refused to leave the casket, asking to sleep next to his body for the last time. The Marines made a bed for her, tucking in the sheets below the flag. Before she fell asleep, she opened her laptop computer and played songs that reminded her of him, and one of the Marines asked if she wanted them to continue standing watch as she slept. "I think it would be kind of nice if you kept doing it" she said. "I think that's what he would have wanted".

Not sure what is more honorable: Being married to this faithful wife to the end or the Marine standing next to the casket watching over them both.

Biker's With a Heart of Gold

Biker's With a Heart of Gold

This little boy Gage has been fighting a losing battle with Brain cancer. For his 11th birthday his wish was to ride with bikers and go to Pojos. The man on the photo is named Dwight Murphy and he made sure Gage got his wish. Because of Dwight, Gage was able to ride with over 100 bikers for over 30 miles to Pojos. Dwight even got him his own vest and skull cap to make Gage a true biker. Gage may not get to see his next birthday, but Dwight gave him one to remember. While Dwight carried him inside, Gage whispered thank you in his ear.

Why we are Selfish ...??

Why we are Selfish ...??

We all want to help one another, Human beings are like that. The way of life can be free and beautiful, but we have lost the way.

Greed has poisoned men's souls; has barricaded the world with hate; has goose-stepped us into misery and bloodshed.

Earth have enough for our need, but not for our greed.

Selfless man in a very selfish world

Meet 98 year old Dobri Dobrev,
a man who lost his hearing in the second
world war. Every day he walks 10
kilometers from his village in his
homemade clothes and leather shoes
to the city of Sofia, where he spends
the day begging for money.
Though a well known fixture around
several of the city’s churches, known
for his prostrations of thanks to all
donors, it was only recently
discovered that he has donated every
penny he has collected
over 40,000 euros.
towards the restoration of
decaying Bulgarian monasteries and
the utility bills of orphanages, living
instead off his monthly state pension
of 80 euros.
